I was recently blessed with a new revelation that we should be focusing on what the Lord has already done in our lives. We tend to focus very easily on all the negatives around us, which can lead us to not appreciate all the things that the Lord has blessed us with!

Stopping and being grateful on purpose will really help us to realise just how blessed and loved we are. This will teach our children about how special the “small things in life are”!

Simple, yet precious everyday blessings that we often take for granted are very much overlooked and not really appreciated. Enlightening your children to appreciate having a home of their own, food in their tummies, water and heating are all blessings.

Jesus laid down His life for each one of us so that we may have a life filled with love, joy and peace each day, regardless of our circumstances.

By spending quality time with your children and helping them understand from an early age how precious their lives are, and how much they are truly loved, will help them to build strong independent characters.

Teaching your child that Jesus loves their individual uniqueness, which He created on purpose, to be one of a kind. That there is no one who could ever be them and that Jesus delights in them the way that they are!

Spend time teaching your loved ones about the true character of Jesus and that our aim in life is to become more like Him each day.

Galatians 5:22-23 (is an excellent passage to help your children understand the true character of Jesus).

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
