Having a grateful attitude this holiday season by taking a moment to appreciate all the victories and successes accomplished and all the blessings given to you are an important part of showing the Lord how grateful we are to Him. We serve a Mighty God!

What better time to celebrate the precious birth of Jesus Christ with your loved ones. Making special memories that your children will always cherish, eventually passing these fond memories onto their own children.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Here is a simple suggestion:

Ask everyone in your family (adults and children) to write down everything that they are grateful for that happened during 2016 a few days before Christmas. Ask them to place it into an envelope with their name on it ready for Christmas day.

On Christmas day before the opening of the presents, ask each person to read his or her own note to the family followed by a prayer to the Lord thanking Him for everything that He has done especially for laying down His own life so that each of us has the choice of living for eternity serving Him.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Having a grateful attitude on purpose will make our world a much happier place to live in and can only have a positive impact on the people around us, especially children!

May your holiday season be filled with absolute joy and laughter shared with your loved ones and may 2017 bring many new blessings and prosperity. Merry Christmas!
